Supporting Language Development Through News Hackers at Laisterdyke Leadership Academy
Laisterdyke Leadership Academy introduced News Hackers to support KS3 students with speech, language and communication needs. Using current events as a springboard for discussion, the programme helped students build confidence, improve comprehension and engage more with the world around them. Flexible and easy to use, News Hackers has become a valuable part of the school’s inclusive, language-focused approach.
